Tier Seven’s mission is to identify biomedical technologies that improve the delivery of health care for our warfighters.
CRADAs and Technology Scouting
Cooperative Research & Development Agreements (CRADAs)
- Collaborative agreements between industry and Department of Defense (DoD) principal investigators (PIs) at Military Training Facilities (MTFs)/research laboratories
- First CRADA is free – Marketing, drafting, and implementation costs of one CRADA per private business entity
- Tier Seven implements a limited number of CRADAs for private (biomedical industry) and public (DoD PIs) collaborations (~ 5/year)
Technology Scouting
- Technologies: publications, patents, conferences (e.g., MHSRS, JPM, BIO International), and presentations
- DoD PIs: case studies/success stories, publications, and biomedical databases

DoD Strategic Roadmaps
Non-Dilutive Funding
- Identification, prioritization, and timeline development for DoD, Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), military-assisting OTA consortia (MCDC, MTEC, others), and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR/STTR) programs, intramural and unsolicited mechanisms
- Contract/grant narrative development
-
- No speculative grant writing services
